
Bundt Lemon/Lime

1 package lemon cake mix
1 package instant lemon pudding mix
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
4 eggs
1 cup lemon/lime soda
Glaze (recipe below) |
Preheat oven 350'F. Grease and flour Bundt (see Note) pan.
Combine cake mix, pudding mix, stir in oil. Beat eggs in one at
a time. Stir in soda. Pour into prepared Bundt pan and bake for
35-45 minutes or until center comes out clean.
Glaze:
Combine 1/4 cup softened butter, 1/4 fresh lime juice and 2 cups
powdered sugar and drizzle over cooled cake.
Note: A Bundt cake is the name used for a dessert cake
cooked in a Bundt pan, whose essential attribute is its ringed
shape. |

Cherry-Mallow Cake

cups mini marshmallows
21 oz. can of cherry pie filling
18.5 oz. package of yellow cake mix |
Spray the bottom
of a 13" x 9" baking pan evenly with non-stick vegetable spray.
Arrange marshmallows evenly in pan. Prepare cake mix according
to package directions. Pour evenly over marshmallows. Spoon pie
filling over the batter. Bake 40-50 minutes, at 350°F degrees.
Cool and cut into squares to serve. Makes about 15 servings
(squares).
Note: Marshmallows rise to the top to become the glaze. |
