Poem #1

A Deadly Game

I am a deadly game
The choking game is my name
Young kids like to play me
I am here for the world to see
Kids can play me with any type of thing
I guess they like the zing

Things can get out of hand
David Cody Hudson lost his life with his karate band
He thought the other kids he knew that played me was cool
Instead to him I was very cruel
David's family found him too late
Death was David's fate

Please don't play my game
Please don't end up the same
Please learn about my deadly name so everyone survives
The choking game has taken a lot of lives

In Loving Memory Of David Cody Hudson 1995-2007

Poem #2

Fight For Awareness

One step in the right direction
Walk to save a life
Making strides to help us learn

Cancer strikes the unexpected
Makes us fight with determination
Awareness grows with every situation

Fight for us when we cannot
Fight to cure cancer
Bring awareness into the light

Many have lost someone we love
Keep their name alive
Keep their legacy strong

Fight for cancer awareness
Keep learning as we go
