When Colour Turns to Love
Paint the world with colourturn our grey skies blue
Let a little sunshine in
filled with vibrant hues -
Draw a little smiley face
upon the golden sun
Swirls of white for every cloud;
you've only just begun.
Retouch now the greyness
and all its many shades
Fill them now with colour
and brighten every day -
Like hues within a rainbow
the red, the green, the blue
From violet into indigo,
let them never fade from view.
While we dream in technicolour
and live in shades of grey
Remember youthful innocence
and carefree childhood days -
Painted days of wonder
the memories of our youth
Such colours of simplicity
which now we see right through.
From childhood to adolesence
the colour slowly fades
And by the time we are adults
we see only in two shades -
We didn't have a golden sun
no vibrant smiling face,
The skies were never painted blue
but only shades of grey.
Then in the twilight of our years
one day we wake to find
That colour is at last restored
by youth's innocent design -
And it's then that we remember
painting clouds and golden suns,
Turning grey skies into blue
till our masterpiece is done.

Rainbow Colours
Life is full of coloursSunshine, shadows and cloud
Life is full of music
Some soft and some very loud.
I wonder what you see
When you look at the canvas of life,
Is your life a pleasant journey
Or a path full of trouble and strife.
Do you see the golds of morning
As the sun comes peeping through
Are you ready to paint a picture
On this canvas that is new.
The red/bronze heat of noontide
When the sun is very high,
Do you see the world in beauty
And does is make you cry?
The velvet greens of the garden
In every shade and hue,
Each day this painting is different
And meant, my friend for you.
The pink and blue of blossoms;
Do you see them as you pass?
A tiny perfect ladybug
Hiding in the grass.
The soft and downy pillow
Formed by the clouds so white.
Do you imagine you could rest there
And sleep through the entire night?
Do you hear the children’s laughter
And the music that they make?
Do you see them running and playing
Leaving happiness in their wake.
Please look deep into this picture
And share the joys that you find,
The very special memories
Stored forever in your mind.

The Colour Of Innocence
The beauty that comes from within a innocent mindA child's dream coming to life
Filled with the colors of childhood delight
Painting the shades of the rainbows light
Taking away the dark side of time
The color of love and the dreams of the night
Of fairy's and princes and everything nice
A painted story book comes to life
The shades of love that God gave from above
The color of just one white dove
The heart of a little girl so open and free
Painting the colors for all to see
Placing a smile within ones heart
As the day awakens to a child's love
The sunlight shines its golden rays
The soft white clouds against a misty haze
A child's portrait they share with you
The red's the pinks, greens and blue
It all comes together and shines on through
The color of innocents ever so true

Wall of Hope
I look at the picture of sunshine and rainbowsClouds and Blue skies,
The cold brick wall is suddenly bright!
The sun smiles down,
We smile up,
Happiness washes over us!
The little children paint there dreams
On the wall of hope,
Using bright colours,
Making the clouds look like they float

Four Little Girls
Colorful and playful all working as one,Four little girls all having paint fun.
The background was gray now turning to blue.
Up near the top there’s some clouds fluffy but few.
Up in the corner we painted a sun.
Its smile is wavy looks like it’s not done
We’re painting away and soon you’ll see.
The picturesque landscape of heaven how free!
Look there's our rainbow…what a beautiful sight!
The colors match our pants..look close..are we right?
Here is a breakdown of the those colors for you
Each one has a meaning…we’ll give you some clues
Polly loves pink it’s the color of universal love.
Pink is a quiet color.
Lovers of beauty favor pink.
A pink carnation means "I will never forget you".
Ruby loves red it’s the warmest of all colors.
Red roses symbolize passionate love.
Red brings focus to the essence of life and living.
Red is Tuesday's color.
Gina loves green it’s the color of nature, fertility, life.
Green symbolizes self-respect and well being.
Green is the color of balance.
Friday is the day of green.
Yvonne is pure, bright and loves sunny yellow.
Yellow is full of creative and intellectual energy.
Yellow means joy and happiness.
Sunday's color is yellow-gold.
Four little girls out making beauty.
Oh, are they cuties.
Four little minds dreaming.
Four little minds scheming.
We can do this….yes we can.
Four little girls best of friends.
Working together as a team,
Side by side showing you in color their dream.
