July 2007 Theme ~ "Friendship in Bloom"

We are so happy to be a part of the Garden of Friendship's Birthday Bash, celebrating 7 Blooming Years!

We have some birthday gifts for you here.

Our theme this month was "Friendship In Bloom", in honor of the Garden of Friendship's Birthday theme of 7 Blooming Years. Everyone in the Garden was invited to participate this month.

The Friendship Blossom

There's a fragrance in the garden
found beyond the gates
A whisper on a scented breeze
a sweet calming embrace

Where springtime is forever
dancing in array
Her blessings in abundance
a colourful bouquet

So graceful in her beauty
a show of vibrant blooms
Forever smiling through the rain
to wash away my blues

Wrapped in velvet petals
and the scent of fragrant love
This precious flower fills my heart
with sunshine from above

Each day I count my blessings
that she did choose to be
My very own friendship blossom
in her garden just for me.

Full Bloom

Friendship buds and blossoms
And brings joy along the way,
The kindness of your laughter
Brings comfort to my day.

I speak to you in the morning
When the sun begins to rise,
Your friendship brings a glow
And sunshine to my skies.

I share my day's events with you ~
You listen to my fears.
You smile and encourage me
And often wipe away my tears.

I look for you at end of day
When I have been put to the test,
Your friendship brings me comfort
When I go to my rest.

Blessed be the bonds of friendship
Tied with ribbons of love,
Your friendship is a special gift,
Straight from heaven above.

Friendship In Bloom

I wandered lonely as a cloud,
No purpose to my flight,
Until one day I chanced upon
A glowing, growing sight

I came upon a field of flowers
They all seemed to belong,
Supporting each other in the breeze,
Together growing strong.

Their colors ranged from light to dark,
With every rainbow hue,
All kinds were represented there,
Within that lovely view.

I stepped among those lovely blooms,
And as they closed around,
I sensed the most amazing thing...
What peace and love I found!

No longer lonely, now I walk
For hours and hours and hours
Among the blooms that grow with me,
My precious Garden flowers.

Friendship In Bloom

A friendship that is very true
Can be oh so hard to find
Some can make you very blue
With words that are unkind

But there are some who know too well
The true meaning of a friend
Bad moments they can help dispel
And it's on them you can depend

Garden of Friendship is the place
With true friendship in every room
Full of happiness and lots of grace
You'll find friendship there in bloom

Friendship in Bloom

I walk through this gateway
Into a Garden filled with a vision of beauty to be shared
I listen to the wind whispering in the trees
And behold a garden of color and dreams
The butterflies dancing across the garden beds
The budding flowers to open soon
With the sun reflecting on the morning dew
A perfect backdrop for new friendships to bloom
Where strangers come and stand together
From all corners of the globe, no division or prejudice
will ever divide
There is no reason here to run and hide
With a caring heart and silent words
As a new friendship blooms in this time of now
Showing the feelings from within the soul
So tender as new friends are told
No one here will ever be left to stand alone in time of need
Leaving behind yesterdays shadow
Standing together for tomorrow
The strength of friendship
Will guide us through and bloom forever
