The Perils of Chocolate

Chocolate, chocolate, how
I do I love thee?
The taste of your sweet confection
From deep dark deep rich to semi sweet
I long to give you all of my affection.

I can taste you in my coffee, mmmmm
When a cafe-mocha I slowly sip
I can feel you melting in my hand
As my Ben and Jerry's  begins to drip.

There you are M&Ms, Mars and Reeses
I can see you on the grocery store shelf
You beckon me oh Butterfinger, you devil
I want to keep you, my Baby Ruth, all to myself!

Oh Chocolate how you entice my every need
You bring such joy to my awaiting tummy
Oh chocolate how I love to have you
Except the layers you add to my bummy !!!

Chocolate

I have dreams of my daily piece of chocolate
I always try to have it on time, never ever late
One piece every afternoon at the same place
Trying so hard not to get it on my face

The one I love the most is my Magnum ice cream
If they ever did away with it I'd certainly scream
Vanilla ice cream on the inside, creamy choccy on the outside
My dream with the delight I could never really hide

They say it's good and helps you to concentrate
Creamy light choccy I could certainly never hate
Dribbling on your chin as I give a smirky grin
I'd never say yummy choccy was a deadly sin.

So what if it makes you add a little weight
A lot more health worries to seal your fate
It's good for the soul to have one addiction
Is it another myth or simply a great fiction?

Chocolate

Oh chocolate
What would the world be like
If it was made of chocolate
It would be like a dream come true
Just for me and you Oh Chocolate
Makes your taste buds dance
And you feel so good inside
Which one would l like
I just cant decide
Oh chocolate
For the young
And the not so young
Oh the taste
Puts a smile on a child’s face
MMM puts the inches on around our waist
Oh Chocolate
A gift that is given
When love is in the air
For two sweet hearts to share
Oh where would we be without
The sweet taste of Chocolate

Straight to the Hips

Straight to the hips is where you can find
Women's most cherished and beloved past time
Whether a cookie, fondue, or on a strawberry,
It is sure to brighten the day and make you feel merry.
Why then does the dreaded feeling arise
After we indulge in what caught our eyes?
Guilt, there should be none, and regrets should be few
After all we love our chocolate, it brings life anew.

Melting in your mouth
Driplets so divine
Dark, White, Milk, and more
Flavors of all kinds

An addiction to enjoy
Bite after each delicious bite
Early in the morning
Or in the middle of the night

There's so many kinds of uses
For each chocolate delight
Ice cream, cookies, cakes, and more
Such a perfect sight

Sweet and decadent

Is there any precedent?
For your smooth flavor,
and that bite I savor?

I see you in the corner
and all of my former
inhibitions are swept neatly
when you are given so sweetly

Little heart shaped box
In such expensive cost
I loosen your bow
Simply wanting to know

What pieces lie inside
What a feast for my eyes
When I see you I smile
For my days worthwhile

I smile to just receive
Pieces of heaven for me
For its my heart you sought
With a box of chocolate

Ode to Hershey's

Ask any chocolate lover you know,
And they'll tell you the place to go,
It's Hershey's Chocolate World.

One trip there,
and you'll never forget it.
The town is enchanting,
with the little Kiss-shaped light posts,
the spa where you can get wrapped in chocolate,
the amusement park,
and of course the factory!

But the main attraction will always be the chocolate.
Be it dark, milk, or cookies & cream,
It's the best chocolate in the world.

Some say I'm biased because I'm from PA,
But I've had other chocolates and nothing compares to Hershey's.
Just give me a bag of Kisses and I'm set!

My Chocolate Love Recipe

Oh my gosh oh my gosh the day is here already,
so soon and soon it will disappear
Valentine's Day for lovers is very simple you see.
Flowers, chocolates, and unending love are only some of the ingredients.

The chocolates show just how sweet you think she is and just how sweet you are.
The flowers are simply to take her breath away.
One additional bonus is what I like to call the Valentine's bonus gift.
The top to make you smile and make her cry tears of joy.

The mixing ingredients first you grab hold of your heart and give a good shake.
Then you start thinking of the very best place to get a bouquet
of her most favorite flowers.
Then you proceed to purchasing a wonderful box of chocolates.

Now looking for the perfect breath-taking tear-jerking over the top gift.
Think hard and keep in mind wonderful.
But most important to remember
Do all of this with a lot of love for the one you love.
