A Tranquil Place
It’s been a difficult few days,And life has been quite tough.
But you have been here for me
When days have been rough.
You take my hand and comfort me
You are so very kind,
You bring a calm and peace to me
When troubled days I find.
You take me to a tranquil place
Where gentle breezes blow,
You restore the calm to me
And help serenity to flow.

Pause for the Wind
Rushing here, rushing thereLife's busy under layer
Even when at night I sit
Apparently relaxed that's not it
In my mind a canopy of questions
A maze of things needing resolutions
Then unexpected the momentary glimpse
Just a dinner out at a small cafe
The boss and employees chatting away
We ate out on the deck
The river below and trees all around
A soft rain falling down
Amid the leaves the squirrel chatter
Birds watch with heads tilting this way and that
All the sounds of man slip away
For a moment
This very day
It seems I can hear the leaves as they sway
All the worry all the stress
All gradebooks and tests
No longer weigh upon my mind
As within is found a moment
Still and at peace
Tranquil and serene
The river's ripples reflecting sparkles
The drops of rain a musical refrain
The wind's soft melody woven within
To bring this one soul
A peaceful minute or was it ten

I enter a state of solitude to meditate
a Tranquil place to let my mind go free.
Wonder where it will lead.
I think of things light as air.
To see the unseen through tranquil eyes
is like seeing the world for the first time.
Not a place for an imagination
this is beyond all drawings or pictures
ever painted or sketched.
A place a universe but only of the mind.

Soft edgesQuipped with Silence
Rivers pass me
Silver moon glows.
Mesmerized tranquility
A trespasser comes
Intervening himself here
I am me
Freely I touch the water
A moment so fresh
Glowing lights stare
Filling your senses nice
Fresh like flowers
Captivating our thoughts.

Tranquil Moments Of Peace
Verb & Mama were called homeThey had cancer which hurt them very much
Verb was hurt with the loving touch
Mama was hurt when she coughed
Seeing that they were in pain
God took their hand with his loving grace
As he could see the pain on their face
When they passed our tears fell like rain
I felt God's presence he said they are free
You need not worry they are with me
They are happy to be free from their turmoil
They are here on my free from pain soil

Tranquillity
Within a tranquil momentI ponder here in peace
The soft and sensual feeling
which brings me sweet release
Finding this in comfort
a shelter in the storm,
So calming, so refining
it keeps me safe and warm.
Serenity is mine to hold
its wisdom by the hand
Encouragement that comes from above
when my troubles began -
And yet I feel its splendour
washing over me,
Embracing me within the arms
of calm serenity.
