Spine Poems

This title refers to the spine of a book, where the title is. Our assignment was to use the title of a favorite book (or movie, or song) at least FOUR WORDS LONG and write a poem by using each of the WORDS in this title as the first word of each poetry line.

Fellowship's a gift so rare
Of love and understanding care...
The bond of true friends everywhere
Rings true forever through the air.

Reflections in a mirror
From some else's face
The stranger staring back at you
Inside that other place
Looking deep into your eyes
Out from your own soul's base.

Gone are the special memories we shared
With each other. Trying to freeze
The moments in time. Fading, constant
Wind tunnels in my mind.

Voices from my mind so deep
In the shadows from my yesterdays now l leave to sleep
The words l have vowed never to speak
Dark and hidden with in my soul so deep
