Miscellaneous Assignments
This mini assignment was a way to promote Poetic Expressions. To write a "ditty" advertising our Committee to post in guestbooks of other GOF members.
A place of gentle comfort
like music to the soul
Expressions penned from our hearts
as poetic words unfold
We share a common interest
friendship, warmth and love
And it's words that bind us heart to heart
and make us who we are
So come on take a journey
through our poetic world
Embrace the writer in you
and let your word unfurl -
We'd love to have you join us
for all you have to do
Is come on in and be yourself,
and we would welcome you.

In this garden full of friends
Is a special group of flowers!
They spend there time together,
Writing poetry to share!
Open the gate, and come down the stairs
Your welcome, my friend, to the Poetic Expressions
It’s a lovely group, with mini’s and assignments
We can share little poems or long ones to!
So get creative and come on through!
