This mini assignment was to write a poem beginning with the words "It's never too late......" There are some excellent thoughts in these poems.
It's never too late to stop and see
All the world in front of me,
To smell the roses with delight
And paint the sky with stars at night.
It's never too late to feel the breeze
On your face and in the trees,
To close your eyes and be embraced
By all God's beauty and His grace.
It's never too late to make a change
For some things aren't meant to stay the same,
And it's only then we come to learn
We can't always have for what we yearn.
It's never too late to hold the hand
And learn to love our fellow man,
For he too is just like you and me
And sometimes who we want to be.
Life's too short for all the things
We take for granted what life brings,
And learning to re-evaluate
That in this world it's not too late.

for a kindness bestowed
to be in love

Joy, pleasure, success and more it brings
Never or can't are no such words in my book
There is something you can achieve if you look

We can achieve this to the end of our days
It never hurts to admit when we're wrong
To me it proves our soul is strong

For a kind word or two
For that last lingering kiss
or that last hug before heading out the door

Stop and spend some time with your family
To play with the kids,
To help them with their homework
Just a couple minutes a day,
