This mini assignment was to write a 4 or 8 line poem beginning with
"I'd love to________" or "I wish I was___________"

I'd love to live in England
a land of history
Of rolling hills and meadows
as far as the eye can see

I'd love to live in England
despite its winter chill
To live, love and experience
from "Midsomer" to "Sun Hill"!

To to take people at their word,
To believe that what people actually said
Meant that they really cared.

I'd love to live in an honest world
To accept people as they are,
Instead of standing holding back
And watching from afar.

Lakes on which sunlight gleams,
I'd love to visit Scotland,
If only in my dreams....

So I could soar in the wind
Not just any eagle, an eagle with wings
I wish I was an eagle
With feathers of Black and white
So I could stand in red, Blue and white
To help my nation through the night!
