There once was a Mother from Adelaide,
Who watched as her children skipped and played,

My mother is my best friend
Time together we love to spend
We've laughed and we've cried
And her eyes I have dried
I will love her until the end

My mother is one of the best
She cleaned, she cooked, she picked up our mess
She loved us dearly
And now I see clearly

Once there was a mother from Canada
who always thought of her loving children
love is a mother's lifelong duty
always there fixing sores and mending hearts
