This assignment was to write a verse to the tune of "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean", using as the first line the words "I wonder why _____ was invented."




I wonder why bras were invented
I wonder why women aren't free
They torture, slip, poke, and they bind us,
Oh no, I'll not wear one, not me!!!

They're creepy and crawly and such,

I wonder why sandals and shoes were invented.
They hurt and cause blisters on our very tender toes.
So many designs to chose from never settling on just one.
