Fun Time Minis
This assignment was to write a four-line verse in which the first line was "If I had a pet, I think..." Some of us couldn't write just one!
If I had a pet, I think
I'd like a little bunny
Soft and furry, cute and sweet,
And I'd name it "Honey."
If I had a pet, I think
I might like a rhino
They can't see good, just like me,
And they're sometimes albino.
If I had a pet, I think
I would like a puppy
It would keep me company
Better than a guppy.
If I had a pet, I think
I'd like a giraffe,
It wouldn't make much noise, you see,
But it might make me laugh.
If I had a pet, I think
Pigs would get my vote,
We'd just eat and play in mud,
And on each other dote.

Just in case it started to stink
I'd shove him in a trunk!

I would get a little kitty
Bow I would put in her fur, maybe pink
And that would make her pretty !

My hubby it would be

But he sure does love me!!

A pretty little hummingbird
For all the world to see.
But as it stayed in its cage
Singing a pretty song
I would feel bad for it
All the whole day long.
So if I had a hummingbird
For all the world to see.
I would have to let it go
And set it to be free.
