Alliteration
Alliteration is a term sometimes used in poetic writings. It refers to the
repetition of usually initial consonant sounds in two or more neighboring
words or syllables (such as wild and woolly, threatening throngs).
Alliterated words should not call attention to themselves, but should flow
naturally. This assignment was to write a poem demonstrating Alliteration.
Succumbing to the sorrow
of sadness in the soul
Lost in listless litany
begotten to behold
Rampant whispers waking
the empty echo's call
As I forget life's full fragrance
inside forevermore.

The lovely lady laced up her laces
As she longed for her lovers light
She saw shinning streaks up in the sky
As she searched the sea for sights
Ten past twelve the toll did take
Twinkling stars made her heart tight
The moon moved over the majestic sea
As the mist melted all her might
Forever fearing her fiance's plight
Forever fear of the seas mighty fight
( ......to be continued hehehehe)

Sadness and sorrow the body feels
always thinking not connected.
Attached just not possible not
for something so small
Death happens then sorrow fills the body
tears flow and the pain sinks in
Sadness and thoughts run through the
mind nonstop with no answers to be found.

Sitting and staring straight ahead
She ponders about her situation
Wondering why things have turned out this way
If she was up to the challenges to change them.
Cautiously considering each avenue
Of officiating each in turn
She dissects, then discards each which won't do
And decides on which direction she'll go.

Silent shadows sneak across the sky
Cumulus clouds go chasing by
Winds are whirling wayward leaves
Shirts on the clothesline shake their sleeves

Inspiration has gone
yet still I sit and struggle
looking for lost words hiding
in the corners of my mind
Day after endless day
slipping through silent hours
No laughter here, no light, no life
without you by my side
Wasted days, fill my mind
Sleepless nights spent without you
Empty moments with misted memories
of love that I have lost

Perhaps a parent's pride and joy
Might make a mistake or two
Teachers do train to teach
Giving guidance to quite a few
The respect for their dedication
As the generations pass
Turns into blame and excuses
Within the air does amass
Who is responsible for the mess
Parent, student, teacher
It starts at home, I am convinced
Look to Him, for help ask the preacher

Most bikers are considered rebels and rabble-rousers
But most are workers not witches
You have Christian bikers
Who ride religiously for the Son
Taking the word to those rebels rebelling against society
Changing and caring about hearts one heartbeat at a time.
These bikers are Christian Motorcyclists.
