Our Treasure Chests

My Treasure Box

I have a box of treasures
filled with all the things
From memories of days gone by
such happiness it brings -
To love and laughter, hopes and dreams
these things that I love best,
And I keep them locked within my heart
safe in my treasure chest.

My Garden Treasure Chest

Diamond dew drops on a rose,
A sapphire blue delphinium,
Grass of emerald green,
Ruby red geraniums.
Citrine coloured daffodils
Rose Quartz in palest pink hue
These are my treasures in the Garden
Reminding me of friendship true.

Friendships Richest Treasure

Far more precious than silver
and more priceless than gold
Comparable to diamonds
but more beautiful to behold -
A gem whose truest value
by money cannot measure
Are pearls of love and wisdom found within
friendship's richest treasure.

In a friendship treasure chest I would find
Hugs of all sizes and hearts so kind.
There would be pretty paper boxes filled with laughter
And stained glass vials of sweet memories ever after.
I'd find floating watercolor bubbles of love
Angels of all shapes and sizes borrowed from above.
This treasure chest is filled to the brim with trust and hope so true
It's gift to me holds everything that lets me be a friend to you.

My Treasure Chest of Friendship

Within the Treasure Chest of life
The richest treasures I do fine
Have been so carefully placed inside

Harmony - learning to be at ease with others and me
Compassion - to understand my friends feelings
Love - the beauty that only comes from you heart
Sharing - to give a little something of you
Caring - Never letting a friend ever feel blue
Warmth - is what you make within your home
Understanding - Listening to the needs of someone who feels alone
Trust - holding close the words told to you in faith

Within this treasure chest of friendship
Is a gift that cannot be bought
