All time I have had no ambitions at all for artistic photos, just a kind of diary
I began with a box camera when about ten, just snapshots.
I have no idea about models or such thing but my second one had a queer look. Took photos in scout camps and at my first travel to England in 1948.
When our first baby was born 1955 I learned to use my husbands Rolleiflex and we both took photos of him.
All this time it was black and white.
We developed our photos by ourselves. We had equipment for that and made the kitchen dark. No developing at home when we moved to Farila in 1960.
Then there has been a long row of years when no photos were taken, no time for that with small babies and full time work.
At the end of 1980th I wanted to begin to take photos again and bought a new camera. I don’t know the model or such. It was just simple cameras for snapshots. At this time we began to get grandchildren. When we were going abroad for holidays often I had two cameras, one with black and white film and one with colour film
My first digital camera was a present for my 70th birthday from all family. ( My first computer was a present for my 60th birthday)
I have had Canon cameras all time I have had digital cameras to use with a computer. That one I have now is my third and it is Canon IXUS 105. I bought last summer. There is lots of possibilities and I don't understand most of them. It has zoom and it is thrilling to try but mostly I delete all. That is the good thing with digital cameras. You take a lot of snapshots and delete nearly all of them
When the GOF Photography Committee started in August 2003 I was among those who joined at once, And there I have been all time, after a few years it was changed to a fun group.
