Rules for submitting Theme photos:

1. Entries must be a photo that you took yourself. Photos taken by setting a timer on your camera are acceptable, as long as you are the one who set up the shot.
2. Photos can be no larger than 500 pixels on the longest side.
3. Photos may be either in color, or in black and white.
4. You may sharpen or crop the photo, but otherwise it must be as it originally was.
5. You may use recent photos, or photos taken in the past.
6. Entries must be submitted by the date they are due. In other words, no photos will be accepted that are sent after the due date.
7. Please name your photo file with the Theme and your name. For example, color_janedoe or janedoe_color
8. Include a Title or Caption with each photo submission.
9. Photos submitted for Themes should be sent to:
photomail@gardenoffriendship.org
10. Only one entry per Theme is allowed.
11. Themes photo's will be voted on by all GOF members.

Rules for submitting Challenge photos:

1. Entries must be a photo that you took yourself. Photos taken by setting a timer on your camera are acceptable, as long as you are the one who set up the shot.
2. Photos can be no larger than 500 pixels on the longest side.
3. Photos may be either in color, or in black and white.
4. You may sharpen and crop, as well as recolor, use multiple images combined into one photo, or experiment with special effects. You are welcome to use your creativity and imagination.
5. You may use recent photos, or photos taken in the past.
6. Entries must be submitted by the date they are due. In other words, no photos will be accepted that are sent after the due date.
7. Please name your photo file with the Challenge and your name. For example, color_janedoe or janedoe_color
8. Include a Title or Caption with each photo submission.
9, Photos submitted for Challenges should be sent through group mail

10. You may submit two (2) photos for each Challenge.
11. Challenge photo's will not be voted but discussed by the Photography Group members.
