My photography goes back so far I may not remember what I had to start with. I do know my first photos where black and white and probably with 127 film. I've always liked to take pictures but didn't do a lot years ago because of the cost of developing film. I also love to look at really old photos of the past.
Then came along :"35mm" film in color! Wow!! About that time I also purchased a 8mm movie camera so I could have memories of our kids growing up. How precious! they are. Later it was the big bulky vhs recorder.
In between there somewhere was a Polaroid instant camera. I didn't take a lot with it because the film was a little expensive, then they stop making it.
Digital was real exciting!!! But I didn't get one until I finally got a computer, I guess that must have been along about 1997 or1998.
My first one was a really cheap Kodak. I still have it and it still works. Then I purchased a Kodak easyshare. I loved it and it takes nice sharp photos for an inexpensive camera. I still use it sometimes too.
About a year ago I got a Nikon coolpix L1011, I wanted something that had more zoom and pixels. It does pretty good, still learning about it. I am a little disappointed on the quality of photos that I zoom in on. It has a 15x zoom. Wish I could figure out how to get them sharper.
I love taking walks and looking for anything of nature to take a photo of. I like to find something that has a lot of contrast with things around the subject. I nearly always have a camera with me. I do have one on my phone but haven't figured out how to transfer them yet. I don't have internet on the phone.
Finding a favorite photo was really a hard task, but here are a couple I've always liked. The look on the little boys face has to be one of my all time favorites. LOL
The clouds I just happened to catch while driving down the road. Seems another guy a few miles away took one of the storm and it was put on the weather channel because it was an unusual formation made by two storm merging.
Well, that's my story! I love Photography!
