Hello, my name is Gardnbee and I am
very proud to be a member of the Garden of Friendship since February of 2007. We
live in Rural Ontario, Canada on a small piece of Mother Earth within a not so
large farming community completely surrounded by Nature. I enjoy moving with the
beauty that surrounds me, working with graphics, reading, gardening, cooking and
sharing.

My name is Dusty and I have been a member of the Garden since January 2006.
The Garden is a great place and full of wonderful people.
I was born in England and moved to Africa when I was four and at ten moved to Canada.
I now live about 1 hour out of Montreal, Quebec. I have two grown boys who have their own places to live, which gives me a lot of
free time now to pursue the things I like to do.
In my spare time I paint, write short stories, do graphics and when I'm not doing that, I'm
riding my horse. I own three dogs, and I also have one cat who tolerates the canine's in
"its" home....Oh and one special man in my life (almost 30 years now), who puts up with
us all!

My name is Aussie Wendy and I've been a member of the Garden since the 5th of
December 2001.
I am 42, have been married for over 8 years to Grahame been together for over
26 years though, took me that long to get him to pop the question :) Grahame
and I have 5 children, Christopher, Amanda, Jason, Stephanie and Brandon.
I started getting online in January 2000, I knew absolutely nothing about
computers, when I first started I only went into chat rooms and talked to people
on ICQ; now 8 years later I have learnt how to use PSP and do basic HTML so now
I make all my own graphics.

I live on a family farm in
Maryland, USA. My website is mostly devoted to family and particularly
my Mom who passed away in 1991. I am a Divorced Mother of Three,
Grandmother of 4. I have been a self employed accountant since
1975. I spend the majority of my free time tinkering in PSP and
creating websites (hehe... it keeps me off the streets). When not
working or loitering on the computer, you will find me baking/cooking or
getting my grandchildren into trouble *Wicked Evil Gryn*

Hi, my name is Kat, short for Kathy. I'm 55, legally blind from birth, divorced and live in Toledo Ohio in a small apartment.
I have had 6 wonderful children. Steven is 32, Seth is 29, Sarah is 27, married and Nick is 21.
I am the proud 'Nana' to my first grandchild, a precious baby girl born on April 4th this year. Her name is Rowan Avery.
I also have two sons that are angels in heaven. Jason died in June 1981 at the age of 6 due to medical disabilities and Shawn died in December 2001 of suicide as a result of undiagnosed depression.
It's the most painful thing for a mother to lose a child. With the help of God, my children and very special friends I am on the journey to healing.
Please feel free to visit Shawn and Jason's memorial site anytime. http://katbraden.com/shawn/
My hobbies include reading, I love Stephen King. I enjoy writing short stories and poetry from time to time.
I swim, ride horses, bike ride when I can and I also love walking, it's great exercise. I'm a pretty decent cook too but my favorite food is chocolate LOL.
My first love is designing graphics and web sets. I made my first set in March 2002 just a few months after Shawn died. I wanted to make a memorial for him so I started learning basic HTML
from my husband Ric and then began designing sets of my own. I joined a few online groups and started learning how to make graphics. I look back on my earlier creations and realize how far I have come in my designing. My goal is
to one day sell my sets.

I'm a mom of two teenage girls,
married to my one and only for 18 plus years. I have a sense of humor that comes
and goes on an irregular basis and my heart belongs to my sweet, wimpy, lovey
little Whippet boy who hides behind me and peeks out at anyone who gives him
mean, toothy looks, and squalls like a darned toddler when it's bedtime and
nobody will go to bed with him.
I'm a pet lover and love my dogs with a passion. I support everyone having a pet
of some sort, although I am passionate against the whole exotic pet import thing
seeing as how many people have released them into the wild to destroy indigenous
wildlife and terrain, such as the Iguanas and Pythons ruining Florida's wildlife
balance.
I used to be really big into needle crafts, then internet "crafts" like graphics
caught me, and I've never quite recovered. As far as my usual days go, I work at
a local level 2 trauma hospital as a Dictation Quality Analyst; I'm a Sunday
School teacher; Video Camera Operator at our fairly large church and otherwise
lead a rather boring life. I read lots of books, because that's the most
"traveling" I'll ever get to do.

Hi, my name is Carol but I'm known on line
as Lady Care. I've been a member of GOF since March 2010. I joined in the middle of a
move but still managed to make some cards. Now I'm also a member of the Graphics Committee
which means I'll be doing a lot of what I love, making graphic sets. I'm happily married to
my husband Doug for the last 15 years. I've been married twice before and have four children
(2 from each of my husbands'). Doug has two children from his previous marriage and I raised
his son from 8 ˝ until he was 20 years old. Our home is in Ottawa but my husband was offered
a fantastic job in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, so we moved here 2 ˝ years ago.
I have 2 grandsons at present and 2 more on the way (both of them are girls), so I can't wait
to spoil them and buy them nice little dresses. I love animals and had two dogs which I could
not bring to Montreal but I see them a lot because I go back to Ottawa every 3 months. Madussa
is a Pit Bull with the sweetest disposition I've ever seen and now my son has her. She is 12
years old. I also have a Pug named Pugsley who was rescued from a puppy mill. She is 12 years
old as well. Guess who the boss of the house is? Nope, it's the pug :)

Born and raised in Montreal Quebec 69
years ago. I am a mother of two, grand-mother of three and great-grand-mother of
nine! Love them all, elated I don't have any diapers to wash or sleepless nights,
my job now is just to smile and say how beautiful each one is.
My life is constantly busy, with a mélange of theatre, projects close to my heart,
and my vertical garden on my patio, where flowers bloom year round. Preparing meals
for one has made me (almost) an expert in the kitchen. I am very health conscious,
I rarely eat meat, and I count calories. It is a discipline. Being slim and trim
is my objective for my senior years. Although I have a disability, I don't let it
interfere with my freedom of movement. I use a scooter when shopping and with
excellent services for seniors in my city, I never worry. That is one of the
secrets of aging for me, being independent and worry free.
My biggest passion is "The Internet" and everything it offers. I have been on line
since 1987 and I am still learning. I started by wanting to do my family genealogy,
then I needed a website. I learned html and once I began playing with graphics and
photos, that was it, I never looked back. I still run the show with my family site
and I host a large "International Poetry Competition."
Flowers are my favorite designs for web sets, cards, gifts, you name it. I have
access to millions of beautiful flowers & photographs through family, friends, and
tubes I purchased. I always say my thanks and follow the TOU’s when using other
people's creations (OPC). I very much enjoy being a member in The Garden of Friendship.
