ASKED QUESTIONS
How are
the sites for the Site of the Week chosen?
Sites are
randomly chosen by the committee leader or assistant leader. The sites
are chosen from the list of members located
in the
Garden of Friendship members only pages.
**All
sites must meet Garden of Friendship guidelines to be
considered.

Can my
site be nominated?
Nominations are not accepted for consideration
for any award
given by the Site of the Week committee.

What
criteria do you use when voting on sites?
Sites are voted on content, navigation and
overall appearance. Sites chosen must meet all Garden of Friendship rules. The
rules can be found here
How does
the voting process work?
The five sites randomly chosen are placed in a
poll through the Site of the Week Yahoo mailing
list. Members then view and vote for one site, they
feel deserves an award. Polls are closed every Saturday. The winner of the Site of the Week award will
then move on to compete for the Site of the Month
award. This sites for this award are complied from
the winners of the Site of the Week award for the current
month. All winners are then notified through the main
mailing list.

What are
the duties of this committee?
Members of
this committee are expected to vote on a weekly basis for
the Site of the Week award and on a monthly basis for both
the Site of the Month and Dedication Site of the Month awards.
Sporadic voting is not acceptable and is considered inactive.
When asked, members are required to answer any and all email
that is sent to them directly or through committee mail.
Who are
the members of this committee?
Members of
this committee are made up of garden members
who wish to join this committee. However, because of the
nature of this committee, members of this committee are kept anonymous.
