Traditionally speaking the word Garden
refers to a fertile region or plot of Earth designated for growing fruits,
flowers, or vegetables and the individual tending these areas is called a
Gardener.
However not all Gardeners who love to grow vegetation in its various forms
has the necessary space in which to plant their hearts desire and so
setting tradition aside simply garden in whatever manner suits their
environment by whatever means brings beneficial results.
Our committee, for example, consists of members who may grow herbs
on their counter tops; flowers and vegetables on verandahs; patios;
porches or window sills or in wider areas but one thing we all share in
common are the simple pleasures that planting, growing and harvesting
our treasures bring.
In between tending to our various gardening ventures within our busy
life-styles we share information, experiences and every now and then
pictures of our favorites along the way. We invite you to visit with us for
awhile and to leave a note in our Guest Book to let us know you stopped
by :)
