I have lost a special friend
A wonderful Lady full of Kindness, Compassion and Love
Though she is no longer here on Earth
I know Connie is watching from above
An Angel here on Earth
And a friend forever
Willing to always give of herself
Always there for others
Now an Angel in a Special Place
She lost her battle with cancer
The question of Why
For this I have no answer
But God does work in mysterious ways
His reasons we may never understand
In my heart this I know
God decided to her battle and suffering end
Because he loves her so.

When I give to you a yellow rose
I wish you the peace
That only heaven knows
As you look upon its beauty
And feel the love
Know that our friendship
Is blessed from above
Accept my yellow rose
With love and peace
I pray that your joy in the Lord
Will never cease
When He comes to take you
From this land
May He walk with you in eternity
