| The Special Friends Committee makes sure every member of
the Garden of Friendship has a friend. Committee members often surprise their
care group members with e-mail messages, cards, adoption or graphic gifts, but
most importantly they extend the gift of friendship. Each GOF member is assigned to a Special Friends Committee member, and that committee member will keep in regular contact with the people in his/her "care group". Many online friendships are made and maintained in this manner ... and this is what the Garden of Friendship is all about! |
