Responsibilities of a Blossom
Below you will find what is required of you as a member of the Blossom Committee. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
1. You will receive an email address to use when contacting the garden members. This email is not to be used for anything else or you will loose it and your membership in blossoms.
2. You must use either Outlook or Outlook Express for email.
3. You are only to use your special Blossom name when sending things to the person you are assigned.
4. Every Saturday I will send out an email via the egroup and assign you 2-3 names. You are then required to contact each person at least one or two times before the following Saturday when I send out the next email. Once you have contacted your assigned members, you will then be required to email me. You must do this every week to maintain your active status. Every 15th and 30th of the month I am required to report inactive members to the Garden Keepers. If you are inactive in the committee for two consecutive periods your membership in the Committee as well as the Garden may be in jeopardy.
5. Only official Committee business will be discussed in Committee mail. Please, no vote requests, look at this, or prayers needed are to go through the egroup.
6. Should there come a time that you are unable to participate you can apply for a one month maximum LOA. You can find the form and more information at http://www.gardenoffriendship.org/membersonly/forms.html Also there you will find links to the forms you are required to fill out should you wish to change committees or step down from a committee (please note that you must be a member of at least one committee to be a member of GOF), change your email address and much more.
7. You MUST have a working knowledge of PSP or other sort of graphics program to be able to create some of the images, etc... that you will be sending.
8. Since there is limited availability on the Committee, activity will be strictly monitored. Excessive LOA will also be grounds for removal from this Committee.
